Guehi and Bellingham shine in narrow victory over Serbia

England got their Euro 2024 campaign off to a winning start with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Serbia in Gelsenkirchen on Saturday.

Despite dominating possession, England struggled to break down a resolute Serbia defence until the 76th minute, when Jude Bellingham's deflected effort found its way into the net.

Bellingham and Marc Guehi were the standout players for England, with both players impressing with their performances in midfield and defence respectively.

Gareth Southgate's side will now face Scotland in their next Group A match on Tuesday, before finishing their group stage campaign against Croatia on Friday.
